1. Turn off the server and all attached peripheral devices. 2. Disconnect all power cords; then, disconnect all external signal cables from the server. 3. Remove the server from the rack. 4. Then, lift the cover release latch; slide the cover to the rear, lift up the front of the cover, and then lift off the cover.
